Congratulations to the 2017 Growler Champions, Lake Park/Springdale’s Air Vectors
2017 was another Record Breaking year, raising over $83,000 for St. Baldrick’s Foundation, and making the Growler the 4th largest SBF event in North Carolina. $20,000 of the donations were from event profits. The rest were from corporate and individual donations.
We’ve now exceeded over a quarter million dollars in total donations in the past seven years for Children’s Cancer Research!

The First Annual Junior Growler Tournament
Sunday, July 30th, 2017 – This all-new tournament had over 65 kids participating and raised over $400 for St. Baldrick’s. Thanks to team Here for Beer team for hosting and managing the tournament!
2017 “The Growler Spirit Kid”
The Growler honored Sawyer Powell this year. Since he was diagnosed with a brain tumor at age 4, he has had four surgeries, three rounds of radiation, immunotherapy treatment, and hyperbaric oxygen treatment. He is currently in Augusta undergoing radiation and a clinical trial treatment. We will be out selling slushies and Gatorade on the final night. Please bring some extra cash to support his family. Teams Raleigh Brawl and Sand Diggers, along with PepsiCo and the Growler have been supporting them each night and will provide them funds to help support their numerous medical expenses.
