2018 “The Growler Spirit Kid”
The Growler supported Hunter Wise in 2018. Hunter just turned 12 in October. Hunter’s first brain surgery was in May 2015 to remove a tumor/cyst. He had another brain surgery one week later due to complications. His family learned he has a rare choriocarcinoma and a germinoma. When he was released from the hospital, he had double vision, Diabetes Insipidus (an inability to regulate his internal thermostat), headaches, nausea and constant fatigue with the least little bit of activity. Since then, Hunter has gone through two more brain surgeries, a spinal tap and chemotherapy. He’s a real fighter. The Growler is proud to honor him in 2018 and support his family. A portion of the Growler proceeds will be given to the family to help support his medical bills. Read more about Hunter here.
