Some news and notes after Week 2…
- The results from Week 2 have been posted on the Growler website: https://growlervolleyball.com/volleyball-events/growler/. Fantastic job playing through the rain last night… not too impactful but another year of Week 2 rain in the books :)
- We are back at the 3 host locations next week (Greystone, Lake Park and Springdale). Food at Springdale will be provided by Carolina Ale House, Sasool, and a “Player to be Named Later”. Food at Lake Park will be V Pizza and Jersey Mikes. Greystone will offer Manchester’s and Lynnwood Pizza. Beer, Seltzer and wine will be available once again also.

- Up to 193 player pages under St Baldrick’s Growler page and over $99K raised ($101K this same email last year). Thanks to all who have fundraised so far… there is still time if you haven’t initiated a campaign of your own!

Next week – We will post preliminary Team Rankings after Night 3’s scores and based on current SB team earnings and volunteering. Then SAT 8/16 at 6pm will be the deadline for SB donations to factor in for Team rankings (other than the numbers attributed to the teams splitting the Masters fundraising dollars).
SUN 8/17 5pmish – Mark to compile final team GPI and contact the #1 and #2 teams to inform them of their seed. Then we will post both the First 8 schedule and the known Final night 32 team single elimination brackets/schedule as quickly as we can Sunday. - GrowlHer reminder for this weekend at Lake Park (8/9 10:00am-4pm). Please come on out and continue the Growler celebration by watching these talented women take to the court. Food and Drink will be available ($10) and of course some unique GrowlHer gear!!
