We had a spectacular Championship night with over 25 people shaving their head for St. Baldrick’s, the Vintage Hwys Band, and great food from PF Chang’s and Lynnwood Grill. Over $5,500 was collected during Championship night through the gate, raffle and supporting St Baldrick’s shavees. We raised over $32,000 this year for children’s cancer research.

Seven Oaks’ Kiss My Ace had a tough road to the finals this year. They needed to beat both last year’s finalist, Springdale’s Volleywood, and last year’s champ, North Raleigh Six Pack Attack to win the Growler Cup.

Congratulations are also due to Seven Oaks’ Team Kona for raising the most money for St. Baldrick’s with over $5,100. They were followed by Springdale’s Mizfits with over $3,100, Greystone’s Dirty Sets on Tuesday with $2,000 and eleven other teams over $1,000 in donations or sponsorships.

Springdale’s Raleigh Brawl team adopted baby Lilly.

With the support of family and friends, they were able to raise $2,000 for the Lilly Fisher Foundation to support her chemo treatments. This is the “Spirit of the Growler.”
